My name is Karyn, I was born in Bluff, NZ, January 1975 to Erin Hawke and then adopted out. I have met my birth mother but did not find out who my birth father is. Erin has since passed away and I would really like to find my birth father. All I know is that he is from Wales, was 26yrs at the time of my birth, he received 2 years secondary education and was employed by the merchant navy since leaving school. His father was deceased and his mother remarried. He had 2 sisters who were married and living in Wales. Physically he is described as being 6 foot tall, with fair hair and blue eyes. He was considered to be even tempered and easy going and of Anglican religion. I assume he would have been on a UK Merchant navy boat that came into Bluff port NZ in 1974. It isn't recorded whether he knew of the pregnancy so he may not even know i exist. | |||||||||||||||||||||
