Approximately 1872 two Kamm brothers sailed from Germany to the States.One brother, Julius F. Kamm b. abt 1850 in Mannheim, Germany, married Heleene Amalie, nee Hertel, born Saalburg, Germany continued to Toronto, Canada where they had their family. The other brother I understand resided in Chicago for a while. A descendant of his was William Edward Kamm better known as "Willie Kamm" who played pro ball with the White Sox and Cleveland Indians. He was b.February 2, 1900 in San Francisco, CA and died December 21, 1988 in Belmont, CA. Any information on either or both brothers and their families would be greatly appreciated.
