McCANN/GIBNEY/KEEGAN/Ledwitch(Ledwidge, Ledwith) James McCann married Catherine Gibney in Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath in 1859. Their first child, Patrick Joseph, was born there in 1860. Don't know who parents of James were or any family. Catherine had, at least, one sister Anna born ca. 1844, one brother Patrick born ca 1836. She was born ca 1841. Patrick married Margaret Keegan, also in Castlepollard. The parents of Patrick, Catherine and Anna were probably Bryan (Bernard) Gibney and Mary Keegan or Bridget Ledwitch. The records differ.
