My great-grandfather Patrick Geaney was born 1840,I think at Reens Pike Ardagh Co Limerick.He married Ellen Mulcahy.He died at Reens Pike June 14th 1905.I believe his ancestors were from Brosna Co Kerry.His son was Timothy Geaney who was born at Reens and moved with his family(wife Mary Dillane)to Enniscouch Rathkeale where he brought up his six children the oldest of whom was my father Patrick Geaney born April 27th 1912.Does anyone know anything of my family history.
