I am an adoptee searching for my birth parents. I was born on May 25th 1968 at St. Elizabeth's Infant Hospital in San Francisco, CA. I was told my parents were young, (birth mother-15 years and birth father-18 years and in the Navy). They were not married and from what I was told my birth mother's family sent her away to have me. I'm not sure if she was sent out of her state or just out of her area. I was also told that my birth father wanted to keep me, but back then fathers did not have rights like they do now. I was told my parents were Swiss/Italian. I was adopted thru the Children's Home Society in Oakland, CA. | |||||||||||||||||||||
