I am looking for my birth mother or father. Birth mother born in southern AB, name "Sylvia Shirley Schneider" around 1941, possibly near Brooks. Her own parents divorced when she was 4 and she was raised by an aunt while her sibling was raised by her mother. I believe she was living in Toronto when I was conceived (birth father a pharmacist?) and she was a cosmetician at the time, came back to AB to give birth to me at Grace Hospital. She surrounded another female child for adoption in 1964, myself in 1966, both in AB but different fathers. My half-sister and I found each other through the post-adoption registry in AB. My birth father's name is "Ralph Schellenburg", born in Manitoba or Ontario I believe, around 1926, he was a pharmamcist, possibly in Toronto, married with children and had 4 brothers likely all living west of Manitoba. A private search revealed he may or may not have died in a car accident in the 70's sometime, search agent said there was a lot of misinformation in my adoption file, likely a sign of the times (calgary in hte 60's) My half-sister and I would like to let Sylvia know we found each other and we are alright.
