I was supposedly born in Stratford, NJ, January 2, 1967. My birth mothers name was Cohen, or Kohen or something like that. The adoption was private, arranged through Attorney Irving Lilienfeld who practiced in Pleasantville, NJ. The story I was told was that my mother was from a devout Jewish family, in the Atlantic City area, and that my father was not Jewish. She was perhaps someone Lilienfeld knew through the local Jewish community. The agreement included my adopive parents paying for my mothers' relocation and support for the term of the pregnancy to an out-of-town location. This would explain my birth in Stratford.
