Query Text: |
My name is Dana Sabonjian. I am adopted and looking for my birth mother. this is the information I have so far. I was born in Salvation Army Booth Memorial Hospital (online says it was a maternity home for unwed mothers) on February 23, 1953 (2-23-53) at 6:03 AM. The address for this facility is/was 5040 N. Pulaski Road in Chicago. The name on my birth certificate was Paula Jane Dixon, and my mother's name was Martha Jane Watson Dixon. My birth mother was 28 years old at the time of my birth, and she already had 3 children who are documented as still living at this time. (No update on if my birth mom is still alive, or whom my father may have been.) Another detail: I was delivered by a "Dr. M. Poter" and at that time in 1953 both his address and her my birth mother's mailing address was the same as the hospital's (5040 N. Pulaski Road, Chicago), and the telephone number for Dr. Poter at that time was PA5-6808 (725-6808...no area codes back then!). I have some serious health issues and want to connect with any of my birth relatives. I have been told that I might be of Armenian ancestry but I am not sure of that. If anyone may know of anything or anyone that might be connected, I would appreciate being contacted ASAP. | |||||||||||||||||||||
