I am looking for the parents of a son that was born on Oct. 20, 1951 in Cook Co. Il. and adoption record was filed on July 11, 1952 in Indiana State Board of Health Indianapolis. Was adopted by Charles and Alta Woodke and lived in South Bend area of Indiana til 1968 and moved to Bellville, Ohio. His adopted name is James Edward Woodke. I don't have much info to go on but the Woodke's did know the name of the parents to the son they adopted.I was told they were church kids and had made a mistake. Woodke's wouldn't tell they're names. I married James and he was killed in motor cycle accident in 1976. I was pregnant with our only child and gave birth to our son 2 weeks 2 days after the accident. I have been trying to find the birth parents for many years because I would like to have any information on health history on both parents. My son would like to meet any of the family granparents, aunt , uncles etc. if they would like to meet him. Should they just want to give me medical history that is fine too. | |||||||||||||||||||||
