Please respond to this query if you have any info on how we can locate my grandmother's ancestors origin who is Lula Alice Swim, born Dec 28,1881 who had a twin brother, lst married a Hamilton and 2nd marriage John Maupin. in 1912) in Salt Licke, Ky Her father was Joshua Swim and her mother was Luella Johnson Swim. I have visited the Historical/Genology Society in Morehead, Ky and found vague info. I also have a surname research on the Swim name which is from the Historical Research Center which indicates Swim is a shortned German name with the first settlers coming into US in the 1600's.Maupin is a french jewish name as far as we know from the same research center.
