Surname(s):

BEATTIE : PAK

Query Text:

In the early/mid 1970s, my parents (African american father/Korean Mother) adopted a little boy in korea (when my father was stationed there as active duty army) because my mother thought she was unable to have children due to 2 previous miscarriages. From my understanding, the little boy was hispanic and korean. When my mother became pregnant with me and gave birth in Petersburg, VA in 1977, a yr or so later, she and my father gave the boy to a family in Washington State (the Tacoma area--I believe). My parents do not speak openly about the subject, I was informed that my parents adopted the little boy by my aunt. He was named after my father (Tony Jr). Not sure if his name was changed when he went to Washington. I would love to reconnect with him. He was born around 1973-1975.
