Looking for the Children's names of all of Zebediah MIX and Electa KNIGHT born between 1814 and 1828 in Clarence or Newstead TWP's, then Niagara, now Erie County, NY, to include source documentation and proof or conclusive evidence. The first child was Charles Knight Mix, born 11 Nov 1814. Two daughters may follow. Victor B. MIX was born 4 Dec 1818; the next daughter was probably Sarah M. MIX LORD, born in 1820, then Lawrence W. MIX may have been born in 1821 followed perhaps by William B. MIX in 1825. The last daughter was Eliza H. MIX GILL. There were a total of eight children born to this couple. Electa KNIGHT MIX died in 1841 and Zebediah remarried to Harriet SMITH MIX and he adopted her four children by previous marriages: Russell, John, Harriet, and Smith MIX. This second family shows up in the 1850 Census, but in the 1860 Census, Zebediah is living alone with his daughter Eliza Gill's family.
