Looking for information on the Dunbars of Butler county, PA. I'm stuck! Moses Dunbar is the last known Dunbar I can find. He was born abt 1816 married Margaret Crooks about 1850-51, died in 1891. All census records state that he was born in PA. There is no know death record according to the State of PA. I believe he had a brother Stephen Dunbar who married Jane Crooks - Margaret's sister. The families were intertwinded once again when Stephen & Janes son, William married Moses & Margaret daughter, Louise Dunbar. The Dunbar families seem to have stayed in the Middlesex township area of Butler county. Anyone with information please contact me - I look forward to hearing from you.
