I am looking for my birth mother. My name is Laura and I was born on 2nd December 1977 and adopted through Bessboro, Blackrock, Cork in January 1978. I don't know my birth mothers name and I dont know what name she gave me. We were told she was young, about 17 and came from a farming background. I don't know if this was true however. It took over a year for her to sign the papers to complete the adoption process. | |||||||||||||||||||||
