Need to learn the names of parents of my grandfather, John Hugh Brady aka J. Hugh/Jehu. His birth: 1861 NC. In southern OK 1893. He md Ellen Burton in Ardmore. They had 4 children. Soon after 1900 they were in OK. A homestead claim abt 6 miles s.w. of Erick, Beckham Co., OK. He & Ellen were div. abt 1906. She died Childress, TX 1932, buried at Erick, OK. He died 1937 Borger, TX & is buried there. His obit says he had a brother, V.L. Brady lived Union City, OK & 2 sisters, Joanna md a Norwood & Louise (Lulu) md. James Smith & lived at Ryan, OK in 1937. Jehu also had a brother, Robert Golden Brady of Pontotoc Co., OK. He was dead by 1937, but he had a son named Bruce Brady who died in Buena Vista, CA abt 1965. Would love to learn names of my Brady great-grandparents.
