We're looking for more information about Lillian Marquette, that we know was living in Memphis, in 1932. Other than that, we do not know her husband's name, her occupation, children, etc. She was born as Lillian Nell Post, daughter of Frank W. Post and Carolyn Anderson. She was born in 1881 or 1882, in Des Moines Iowa, and has used other surnames up to 1912 such as Shope, Driggs, McColl, Meredith, Wagner, Yeoman, McCoy, and Pinkerton. She had been a dancer in traveling shows here and abroad. Census records between 1910 and 1940 fail to show her residency, but the Memphis city directories list er as a residence, so that's probably the best research tool to use | |||||||||||||||||||||
