I am looking for my cousin. He would have been born in San Francisco in 1945 or 1946 of possibly a Spanish mother and Irish/Portuguese father who was my uncle, 22 yrs old, in the Navy. They gave up the baby because the mother was married to someone else and my uncle was in the Navy and couldn't care for a child. He spoke of this child only once to my mother. He said it was a boy. An attorney in Nob Hill took the child. My uncle said it was a private adoption; the baby boy was only a few days old. We would love to contact our cousin. The father was Joseph F. Lewis of Bridgewater, Massachusetts, DOB 4-11-1923. He was stationed on the USS Thomas Jefferson. We have no information about the mother other than that she was married to another man and was possibly Spanish. | |||||||||||||||||||||
