Looking for any information available regarding my ancestors. The areas of interest are Karlovac, Zagreb, Austria. They were Croatian speaking and Roman Catholic. The following are some of the names I am researching: Petar Livojevic (parents were Joseph Livojevic and Anna (Rozna? or Rosmutz?) Livojevic. Peter was born in Austria in 1886. Bara (Gorsic) Livojevic. Her parents were John Gorsic and Bara (Perakovic or Kusan?) Gorsic. She was born in Yugoslavia in 1885. They both immigrated separately to the USA in the early 1900's and then lived in Indiana, USA. It is my understanding that Petar had only one sister named Anna and that his father, Joseph, died fairly young. I do know that Bara had at least one sister named Rose who was quite frail as a child. I do not know how many siblings she had altogether. My grandfather Petar Livojevic came to America with Petar Perkovic and Joseph Dupkovic, according to Ellis Island records. Would greatly appreciate if anyone has any information to assist me in my research.
