Albertha "Bertha" RUFER Gulley was born Sep. 1881 in Bridgeport, Belmont Cty, Ohio Supposedly the daughter of Frank Rufer and Jane Miller. She married Albert Gulley abt. 1900 in Bellaire, Belmont, Ohio.Their children were Joseph, Cecil, Gilbert, Albert Jr. Edwin, and Verona. Bertha's early years has been a mystery. It has been said her brothers and sisters had been raised in foster or orphanages, for whatever reason I have not been able to find out. I have been unable to find her birth record or residences while a child. Other than this I have no information on her early years other than this.
