TEDYS, Andrew "Andy", b. Czech Republic in 1869. Some records say Czechhoslovaka, Austria, and Russia, but his Nationality was Polish.The last name has been spelled also Tedysz, Teddys, and Tettys. He lost two fingers in a mining accident in Berkley. W. Va. that also took the life of his Son Frank and son-in-law John Meck,/Mech/Mick. He and his bride Maria had the following children: Frank, Mary Helen, Henry, Karl, Anna/Annie, Karl/Charlie, Helen, Gertrude, Elisabeth, Mildred, Andrew Stefen "Gumps"' Edith, and Irma. I would like to know the names of Andrew's mother,Father brothers and sisters and the City in which they lived before coming to America. I would like more contact with his family, stories, photos etc.. His son Andrew was my stepfather, a wonderful man. If anyone can help filling in the blanks, please contact me.
