Born in Orleans Parish May 16, 1968. Birth mother was 15 or 16. Lived with grandpartents. Grandfather was a judge in New Orleans, adoptive parents from chicago, il. Because the grandfather was a judge in New Orleans the courts moved the adoption proceedings to Illinois. I was adopted through my adoptive mothers family doctor who has since passed. Dr. Boloan (sp) and the birth mothers family also were patients of the dr. in new orleans. I can't remember the hospital i was told i was born at. my brother was also adopted by in 1965 and this was also arranged through dr. boloan in new orleans. The lawyers were located in the french quarter and claim all files burned in a fire regarding my birth. My brother from another birth mother was issued 2 birth certificates, 1 was the natural mother and 1 with the adoptive parents. Her name is helen darlene dicristiana (sp). he was born Sept. 4 1965. Between 1965 and 1968 they discontinued issuance of the 2 birth certificates. My adoptive mothers family still lives in New Orleans. They are the Donner and Rittiner family. We were all raised catholic and my adoptive mother and grandparents are catholic as well.
