Hi, My name is Jim Seymour. I am trying to trace my grandmother Olive Deal Seymour's family tree. I can trace it back to her grandfather James Deal who was born about 1805 in New York. He appears on the 1850 Census for Amsterdam, New York. He appears on this census record with Eveline Deal also born about 1805 and the rest of the Deal children. All I need is a clue to who this James Deal's parents were and I think I can take it from there. No one on Ancestry.com, World Connect, Family Search, Gene Circle, Genforum and many other sites seem to be able to give me any concrete information.
