My name is Barb Newman & I am searching for my birth mother & any siblings that may be out there. I was born 10/18/1952 & was told my birth mother named me Lois Ann. I was adopted by Scotty & Arlene Hord thru the Lutheran Family Social Services in Omaha, NE. I have had numerous medical problems which is now being passed down to my children & I would like to know my medical history as well as have my original birth certificate to once & for all have peace in knowing just who I am. I know my birth mother's family was from Sweden & I'm assumming she was in her late teens when she delivered me. My birth mother was to be married but the father bailed when he found out she was pregnant. I was in the childrens home for 3 months before I was adopted because my birth mother wouldn't release me.....I'm sure this was an extremely hard decision for her.
