Hello! I'm researching a David Denny, born near Dublin, Ireland on 15 September 1824 to a Rachel Atchison and Mr. Denny. He immigrated to East Zorra/Woodstock, Ontario, Canada sometime between the mid 1820s and 15 October, 1848, when he married Isabell Calder, from Scotland, in Canada. After Isabell's father's death in 1844, he took over the Calder blacksmith shop for some time (by the 1861 census he was listed as a farmer) and had a homestead by the 10th line. The couple had about 10 children. David died on 15 February 1902. What I'd like to find out is where exactly from Ireland he came from, who his father was, whether or not his parents emigrated to Canada with him, or just anything about David's origins.
