My birth name on March 26, 1963 was Tammy L Roberts, born to David Wayne Roberts and Patsy Ruth (Collins) Roberts. I was born in Chico, CA. My mother, Patsy, died in Plumas, CA when I was 6 months old on Sept. 7, 1963. I had 3 older siblings at the time of my adoption - David Lee Roberts (b-7/1/59), Larry Wayne Roberts (b-9/16/60), and the third I cannot find birth records for, so I am not sure of the spelling - in the news paper about the death of my mother the child's name was spelled Guye Roberts (b-apx. 1961). My adoption was in Chico, CA (Butte county), but my father and siblings may have lived in Texas, because that is where my mother was from originally, of course they can be anywhere in the US now. My mother's father, Chas (Charles) Collins signed or gave verbal permission to bury my mother in Chico, CA, but the funeral home nor cemetery could not provide me any factual information other than my grandfather's name. It is possible that my father remarried and bore more children. I have reason to believe that my birth father and at least two of my older siblings are still living. I have ran into nothing but dead ends on ancestry.com. Any help in locating these people or how to access my adoption records would be helpful. Thank you and God Bless.
