I am helping a friend to find anyone that may remember his story. He was told he had been left abandoned in a house in,, New Orleans, Louisiana alone for 2 days at the age of about 18 months to 2 years old, told his birth date wasin May of 1958. He was found in his crib by a Social Worker that used to babysit him. Her name is/was Mary Ann Faulkner, as she may be deceased by this time. He was told he had been born in Charity Hospital in New Orleans. This story may have been printed in the newspapers of New Orleans Louisiana. He was adopted by Ross and Esther Ketchum, he was told later that he was 2 y/o at the time of his adoption. The social worker(Mary Ann Faulkner) became friends of the Ketchums and she sometimes took him for extended visits. He called her Mimi and later became suspicious she MAY have been his Biological Mother. If he ever asked her about anything, she would get angry and tell him to just forget the past and live in the now. He has no clue as to his Biological surname. Anyone with any information or if this story prompts a memory please contact me in the appropriate way. Mary Ann Faulkner also had some ties with Horseshoe Lake Arkansas, possibly where she originally came from but not certain. | |||||||||||||||||||||
