My grandfather told me that his cousin was De Witt Andrews. De Witt's father was known to be Jacob W. Andrews a son of Edmond Andrews who died in Washington Parish, LA in 1836. My gr. grandmother was Lucy Elizabeth Andrews who married William W. Toney in Marion Co., MS in 1851. I gather from the above information that Lucy was the daughter of Edmond Andrews and his second wife Dorcas Magee. I would like some positive proof of this. | |||||||||||||||||||||
