I am looking for my natural mother and father or even my foster family during summer and fall of 1975. I was given the name Choon Soon IM (family name). In my foster family during 1975, there was a father age 43, employed by a company. A foster mother age 33 who took care of me in the home. They had a daughter age 13. She was in the first year of middle school grades. During this time, I was cared for not far from downtown Seoul, Korea. My date of birth is only presumed, I was sent to the Seoul Children's Hospital on June 20, 1975 at the request of the Nambu police. After 2 weeks, since I was not claimed, I was referred to an adoption agency. The information says my custodian care was with Youn Taek Tahk (Social Welfare Society). On July 16 1975, a family register was made according to protocol by officer of Choong-Ku Office. This says my family name was established as IM and my family origin is Yi Ahn. I do not know what that means. I was adopted in February 1976. In March 1976 I moved to the United States of America with my adopting family. Thank you for helping me. |
