My name is Gira Tomkos (married name) my birth name was Gira Sauers. Im 44 yrs old and live in New York. I was raised in Florida but born In New Jersey. My birth mothers name was Charlotte Elizabeth Sauers.Her maiden name was Reese. I have a younger (by 1 yr) brother named Bobby/Robert. The State of Florida unfortunately ended up taking custody of us away due to my moms life style. We ended up in the States care from age 6 on. I was in foster care and adopted which didnt work out due to tragedy in my adoptive family and was sent back into foster care where I stayed my entire life until I was 18. At 18 my birth mom found me and I came to NY to get to know her which turned out terrible and explained alot as to why we were taken away to begin with. I have no connection with her side of the family at all and know nothing of my grandparents except my grandfathers name was Jacob Sauer/s?, and my grandmothers name was Emma Denno. I think they are both deceased. Ive tried googling and doing some research but have no other info to go on due to my mothers refusal to help me. My mother was a very promiscuous woman in those years and so she was with many many men in the time frame of my birth. I was conceived in Feb/March of 1967 or so. I was born in November 1967. My mother lived in Fort Dix NJ at the time. She dated many army men and worked at various bars and dance halls and slept with many of the army men. The name listed on my birth certificate states Elmer J.Nadeau as my father, howevre, I found that hes deceased, but I did DNA testing with his half sister this year after finding her, and it came back that her dna and mine just doesnt appear to be related through gene tracings. Being he had no direct siblings, and his parents are deceased, I have no way to attempt any further tests. The issue I have is that my mom was with so many men, the probability of her knowing who my father is is very slim sad to say. I have reached out to several men who she told me were my father and some refuse to acknowledge me. The only name I was given last by a relative is Marvin Harkin/s/Harken/s? Spelling unsure, Who might have worked at the bar with her apparently. I was told hes polish?I have never been able to find him to do any tests. I have done dna tests with 2 other men who were named but they came back negative. Im just about dried up on wanting to search any more but I figured that Id try again today one last time in this post. If anyone knows of Charlotte Sauers/Reese and lived in NJ around the time of my birth, and slept with her, or maybe you know of a man who was seeing her...or you are a man who slept with her around that time...please contact me. Im rootless. Im ok with the fact I may be forever....BUT, if this sounds like something you know about or might know of someone who does...write to me. Even if you despised her(dont blame you) if you think you or a male had contact with her at that time...Id love to know.My mother died 2 years ago and took her secrets with her to her grave. I now have noone.Im a wonderful, beautiful, loving, stable mature women with kids who would love to know of their grandfather or relatives on his side. | |||||||||||||||||||||
