Born Dec 18th 1966 Toronto Ontario 5:24pm 8lbs 3oz Birth mother named me Andrew James McCurdy..Final Adoption order signed by Judge Denton of County court of York on Nov 14th 1967 making me legal member of adoptive family. Birth mother born in Scotland in 1943. 5'1" tall 127lbs Came to Canada in 1962. When she became pregnant with me she was working in a research labratory..Avid reader..very athletic Birth father born in Ontario in 1933 of Irish ancestry. Married but divorced from his wife in 1962..Two sons from that marriage..7 and 5 respectivly at the time were living with there mother in Nova Scotia. Birth father 5'11" tall 175lbs. Joined armed forces at age 18 Discharged after 10 years with the rank of officer. Started taxi business but sold it in 1966 and moved to western Canada. Birth father youngest of 4 children..In 1966 one sister was living in Saskatchewan..another in Manitoba..another whereabouts unknown. Birth father and mother met in the summer of 1965 and started dating in the fall..When birth father learned of pregnancy he offered to marry the birth mother but she felt that a marriage under these circumstances wouldnt have much chance for success. In the 5th month of the pregnancy the birth mother was hospitalized for depression.
