Looking for my birth father, or any family members I was told that my mother went to MN and was there in 1955 My birth mother's name at that time was Geraldine Schmaltz she may have went by Geri at the time of my birth she had just turned 22 my dad was a year or so younger. They only had a very short relationship She would have been with my father the end of August begining of September maybe into October 1955 I believed she may have lived with her sister and brother In-law in Duluth, MN My dad may have been in the Air force station in Duluth. She was from Michigan but left her mom and dad's place around 16 or 17 She gave me up for adoption right after birth I met Geri in 1989 she gave me diffrent names for my dad so the last hame Swanson or Springer maybe wrong hopefully if someone see this they will find me my my mom's name My birth mom passed in May 2008 but in 2010 Geri's sister said his nick-name was Swed. She can't rememeber his given name first or lasted. My mom may have lied to my dad and may have even told him she lost the baby she lied to me several times so I believe she may have lied to him. My dad was going to marry my mom but they broke up. Geri said my dad took her to met a lady she can't remember if it was his mom or aunt the woman was living by Minneapolis she did not see any husband there. and she thought he may have passed.
