I apologize if this is slightly off-topic, however, I am looking for a location to shoot a movie in. It needs to be in the US or Canada. We need a decent sized, atmospheric cemetery, kind of tumbledown and unkempt, with a good variety of graves (mainly late nineteenth and early 20th century preferably). It should have a load of trees and ideally a sightline to a road and a place where a shack could be built. It's going to be standing in for the Ozarks but location is not too important. The ones we've been looking at so far include the Ross Bay cemetery in Victoria, BC and the Toronto Necropolis. However the best visually I have seen so far are the Bagdad cemetery in Pensacola, FA, and the Laurel Cemetery in Georgia. http://www.filmnorthflorida.com/locations/Bagdad:-Cemetery http://www.kingtisdell.org/laurel.htm I would be really grateful for tips on any cemeteries that people may know about, especially if people have pictures of them. At this point we're not even worrying about whether we could get permission to shoot in them. We'll deal with that later. Many thanks for the assistance. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
