I am a biracial female born 2/13/84 at Passaic General Hospital and adopted through Catholic Charities. I am looking for my biological mother (maiden name Perry?) whom was described to me as being about 5'8" with blonde hair, blue eyes and wore glasses for nearsightedness :0) She had a younger brother and lived with her mother whom also had blonde hair but had green eyes. Her father did not live in the household. I was told that the reason that I was given up for adoption is because my biological grandmother didn't want a biracial child. My mother loved basketball and had said she couldn't wait to get back to school to play basketball again once she gave birth to me. I don't know if I will ever find my father but it would be amazing if I could, for I know that my mother was Irish but I have no idea what my father was! He was said to have been working in my mother's neighborhood when she met him. Despite the wonderful life given to me by my adoptive parents, I have always wanted to meet my biological mother to thank her for giving me life and find out more about my family history. It would be great to know if I have half siblings as well. If anyone knows my birth family or can point me in the right direction, I would be forever grateful! | |||||||||||||||||||||
