Want to locate birth mother APRIL 2,1966-Baby boy-7lbs 13 1/2oz Multnomah county, Portland, Oregon Waverly children's home JOSEPH HICKMAN Mother born January 1944, married in New Jersey 1961,separated in September 1961,returned to Portland & gave birth to first daughter who was born in 1962.She lived at home - her parents took care of child.She worked intermittently as nurse's aid..Mother suffered periods of depression, attempted suicide with razor blades & overdoses of medication, according to juvenile records. They considered her unreliable & unstable. 1964 court hearing gave temporary custody to grandmother,at that time she was still married to husband & pregnant with another mans baby.She divorced in 2964 in Oregon & married 2nd husband in Washington 2wks after divorce. 2nd daughter born in 1964, & in 1966 was still with birth mother. She was separated from 2nd husband for sometime but in January 1966 he returned home. Mother began prenatal care her 5th month of pregnancy with 3rd child,Steven( Joseph) , according to reports paternity was in question regarding 3rd baby,mother removed baby from Waverly Baby Home to determine paternity by blood type, when determined husband was not father, birth mother returned baby to physicians care at St.Vincent Hospital for specific reason of giving him up for adoption.
