Looking for info on HANSSEN and possibly SAATHOF families: Harm Seede Hanssen was born 07Jan1842 in Schirum & his wife Margreta Heyden Eden born 25Feb1842 in Neuemor (Bagband). They were married 04Jan1871 in Timmel.Their son, Seede, was baptized in Ulbargen in June 1871. Family portrait of Seede w/parents (Harm/Margreta) taken just before Seede left for U.S., has photographers stamp on back "Aurich & Oldenberg". Harm/Margreta had 2 daughters who remained in Germany. Their names may have been Mereke and Greta. Wedding photo of one of the sisters is attached. One may have married a SAATHOFF. I am trying to locate that family in Germany or the US so my 94 yr old uncle can connect with his cousins. He speaks fluent German.
