My Wife is looking for her Jamaican family and was told she had a brother. She was born in 1981, possibly in Kingston. Her Mother gave her to a neighbor to raise when she was probably a year old. She was told later that her father had been shot and killed that same year. The neighbor contacted the police because they didn't know her name so the Officer named her Camika Brown and they estimated a birth date of June of 1981 to establish her idenity. The neighbor raised her on a small farm near a river until she died during a hurricane at which point my Wife entered a girls home near Kingston. She was then raised in girls homes until she was adopted at the age of 15 by a family named Kendrick. We'd really like to find her family and do DNA testing to prove the relationship. | |||||||||||||||||||||
