I am searching for my biological parents. I was born on June 10, 1979 at St. Peter's Hospital All I know is that my biological mother was 15, and my biological father was 19, at the time. My parents (adoptive) have always been very open and understanding of my interest in knowing my DNA past, and I've always known I was adopted, but never felt un-loved or not 'their' child. They are wonderful and I have been so pleased. I contacted the hospital where I was born near my 25th birthday, but their information did not vary from what I have on my birth certificate. I have also contacted the attorney who facilitated the adoption, but he stated that, due to WA law, facilitating contact between biological parents and child is no longer legal. So I feel a bit stuck and I've been curious for so long, and, getting to the point where I'm ready to start my own family, the interest has only increased. Any help is appreciated as I would like to know 'what' I am (nationality, etc.), as well as, should they share the interest, learn more about one another. There isn't any pressure to meet, so long as I can get some images/answers to basic questions. | |||||||||||||||||||||
