GLOCKLEY, Henry L. Born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in 1850. Moved to Will Co., IL in 1857. Invented an improvement on the metal fence post. Owned considerable real estate around Joliet, IL. Removed to Los Angeles sometime previous to 1910 where he worked as a machinist. Built at least two cottages on North Chicago Street and possibly other properties in the Boyle Heights area of Los Angeles. Lived at 2110 East 3rd Street. Retired to Pasadena, CA. Need more information for an Historic Assessment of one of the buildings he built. Does anyone know where or what year he died?
