Searching for my great-grandfather's (James Kavanagh)brother (first name unknown KAVANAGH) who emigrated with him sometime between 1885 and 1890 from Birkenhead/Liverpool. James supposedly drowned at sea but his brother made it to California. That is all the information I have.
