I am looking for my birth mother. I was born at St. Mary's Home for Unwed Mothers on Occidental Street in Los Angeles on January 21, 1970. My BM would have been 19 at the time. She met my birth father while visiting her sister. My birth father lived in the same apartment building that my BM's sister lived in. He disappeared soon after finding out my BM was pregnant. I was adopted in a closed adoption in Los Angeles County by David and Teresa Ohrn. My adopted name was Heather Ohrn. In 1977, I became Heather Walker.
