Meissner family in Germany I am interested in locating my ggrand father and grandfather brothers or sisters My father had this ancestry info which was given to him by his Father ..as I do not speak German I have hard time understanding the writting on the document My father is Horst-Willi Meissner b 1927 but does not remember all of his uncles and aunts as he has dementia He immigrated to Canada in 1955 My grandfather is August-Willi Meisssner b.March 1896-d.1963(Elbing) married Feb 14,1920 to Magdelena Morgenroth 1897-1946(Gottingham) He had a twin named Walter Meissner My grandfather oldest sister named Anna Meissner and she married a Burgermaster in the Elbing area when my father visited as young boy in 1941 The second eldest of the family was Herman Meissner he was owner of office supply store in Elbing He has 5 other siblings that we do not know (family pic) My ggrandfather is Gottfried Meissner b.1855-d.1923 (Lohrberg) married 1885 to Luise Neuber b. 1864-d.1932(Borchesdorf) moved to Elbing My gggrandfather is Micheal Meissner b. 1809- d.1872 (Lohrberg) married 1853 to Anna Hermann b.1830-d.1913 (Borchersdorf) My ggggrandfather is Christoph Meissner b.1766-d.1833 (Lohrberg) married 1808 to Katherinba Heyse(Heisse) b.1769-d.1840 (Lohrberg) My gggggrandfather is Micheal Meissner (Lohrberg) married Maria Lorwendryim not sure of spelling (Lohrberg) | |||||||||||||||||||||
