I am researching Olivers that live or lived in Arkansas (Columbia, Calhoun, and Ouachita counties) (cities of Magnolia, Camden (AR) and are related to John W. (b. 1879) and Mary (Thomas) Oliver (b. 1890)- my great-grandparents. John's parents were Houston and Jane (Holly) Oliver. Some of them may have originated from Louisiana. Some of John and Mary's children were John Jr., Curtis, Emma, Ruth, Eli, and Roletha. I don't know much about my grandfather, because he moved to Michigan many years ago and is now deceased. My grandmother is deceased as well and unable to give me more information regarding this side of the family. I'm conducting genealogical research and am trying to tie up loose ends.
