I am helping my mother search for her birth family... My Mother is Pamela Mildred Hayes She was born April 4, 1946, she was 9 pounds 4 oz and 21 1/2 inches long, Brown hair, Brown eyes and had a Hematoma on the right side of her head at birth. Born at Cumberland Hospital, Brooklyn, New York The adoption took place in Rockville Center, Nassau Co. New York The agency was Talbot Perkins Adoption Agency Pamela was placed with her adopted parents in June of 1946 about 3 months old Birth Mother was born October 27, 1925 She had brown hair, brown eyes, short stature 5 ft. 4 in and about 105 pounds and white. She was also the oldest of 9 children We think the birth mothers last name was BROWN Birth Father was born 1925 He had blond hair, blue eyes, Tall stature 6 ft. and white He was a Merchant Marine The birth parents were Not married at the time of the adoption and were both listed as age 24 at the time of the adoption. Unknown if the father new about the pregnancy or birth. The Birth Maternal grand mother was a homemaker and age 38 when my mother was born... The maternal Grand father was a carpenter and 44 years old when my mother was born... They gave my mother up for adoption because the grand parents already had 9 children and could not afford their grand child too... My mothers aunts and uncles range in age from about 70 to 86...
