I am seeking information about the family of James Driscoll and Mary Minihane of Lewiston, Androscoggin Co Maine, late 19th century. Not sure when they settled there, but evidence seems to suggest they entered the country via Boston in 1881. Youngest daughter Catherine, who died in 1902 at age 15, was not born in Ireland while the rest of the family was as far as I know. I may have information about this family's origins in Ireland. The family disappeared from Ireland around 1882 so presumably they emigrated then. James is one of my gg-grandmother's younger brothers. | |||||||||||||||||||||
