I am trying to find descendents of the Gillan/en family of Lower Rosses,Parish of Drumcliffe,Ireland. John, Maria etc. went to U.S.A.just before 1900. John is said to have been a policeman in New York and had a son Owen. Maria is said to have married a Patrick Murphy of CO.Mayo and died in a fire in N.Y. C.1905. Any info would be appreciated.
