I'm searching for ANY information on my g-g-Grandparents, Franklin P. and Sarah (Hess) Zerby. They lived in St. Josheph County MI. Sarah was the daughter of Bennjamin and Susannah (Cotherman) Hess. I cannott find any information on Franklin's Parents. What we were told was that he was born in PA in 1842 and that he left PA around the time of the Civil war because his religion was against fighting. The time lines fit what I have found so far. There is a Franklin Zerby in PA in 1850 then In 1869 I have a Marriage Certificate for Franklin and Sarah in Park TWP. St Josheph Co., MI Unfortunealy, I cannont make solid connections between Franklin Zerby in 1850 and Franklin Zerby in 1869. They had 9 Children , 7 that lived and had families of thier own. They are Emmannuel, Elizabeth, John, Ella, Angeline, Bertha, Cora Alice and Sarah. Side note, I found Records for the Corderman (Cotherman, Katterman) Family through Family Tree maker and Franklin is listed as Franklin Peter Zerley.
