To my mother: You named me Travis. I weighed 9 lb 11 oz, was 22.5" long and was born on 2/1/79 at Community General Hospital. You dealt with placenta previa and I was born c-section. You took care of me in the hospital so I wouldn't go 1 day w/out parental love. I was adopted through Oswego County Social Services in Mexico, NY. I believe you were a cheerleader in high school and my father played football. I don't think you were too tall (about 5' 1") and my father was around 5' 11". Perhaps your last name began with D? I have a full biological brother 3 years older. I swear I think I've seen him. (People have even asked me why I just came in some place again when I just got there! Do we look that much alike?) My late grandmother always thought she saw my father in Oswego because of the resemblance to me. I've had a good life. I was the 1st child of a couple who were unable to have children. A younger brother came to us when I was 5. I was in all sorts of activities and had many friends. I appreciate the opporunity and the life you gave me.
