I would be searching for my birth parents. I know nothing about them other than the surname on my adoption papers. My adoptive parents lived in Port Hood, Cape Breton and my birth certificate says I was born in Halifax on March 4, 1951. My name on adoption order says I was Sharon Elizabeth Edwards. One of my earliest memories is reading papers in a dresser drawer that stated my father's name was Charles Edwards. But as I was 6 years old at the time, my memory could be worng. I have been unable to find those papers that I think I read. My adoptive parents told me they knew nothing about my parents, and they have passed on. Was always a bit confusing for me though as I thought I looked like my adoptive Mom and her siblings. It would not suprise me to find a connection. It would be nice to discover I have siblings.
