Looking for information regarding Annie (or Annis) Overton and Alex Amos. Ms. Overton was 1/2 English, 1/2 Indian. Her son was named Christopher Alexander Amos (Born 1885). The father of her son was Alex Amos, a Negro brakesman for the railroad. He was known to be around the North Carolina, Virginia area and had another daughter (Lucy Royster) by another woman.
