Searching for Birth Parent (s) or any family member I am a female BORN NOVEMBER 26, 1960 at HONOLULU HAWAII adopted TO A WONDERFUL CHILDLESS COUPLE my ( adopted ) father was U.S.A.F. THIS WAS A CLOSED ADOPTION I have no other information... my ( adopted) parents reportedly adopted me days before my actual birth -- they wanted me regardless of any handicaps or birth defects. My ( biological ) parents were ( thought to be ) too young. My ( adopted )father was stationed there in Hawaii. We moved shortly thereafter. It has always been my wish to know any of my family. I remained an only child, and now have 2 grown children of my own. I would like to know family history ,connect with any family members --but most of all , want my (biological) mother to never look back with regret about her ( what must have been a difficult ) decision, as I have lived a great life-- I would love to thank her for her choice and be a part ( or not, if she is more comfortable ) of her life now. I would like to be able to tell my children of things that may 'run in the family ' such as a history of diabetes or whatever, so that we may take precautionary measures etc. ( if nothing else).
